Fracturas del brazoFractures at this level are rare (5%) and follow a high-energy impact. Contact sports such as martial arts and sports that can produce violent falls (downhill skiing, motorcycling, cycling, canyoneering, paragliding) are predisposed to this type of fracture. The usual treatment is non-operative. Minimal intervention introducing an intramedulary nail is sometimes required to stabilized the fragments so that the patient can resume his normal activities as soon as possible.
