Laser Therapy

Vascular Injuries

varices

As a result of aging skin, of accumulated solar damage or due to circulatory disorders, vascular lesions may occur that manifest as:

  • Varicose veins, varicose veins and telangiectasia
  • Ruby points
  • Couperose and rosacea
  • Port wine spots (Nevus flammeus)
  • Hemangiomas and angiomas
  • Chronic solar damage

These types of lesions can be treated by the Neodymium-YAG 1064 laser, which allows safe and definitive removal.

Scars and keloids

cicatrices y queloides

Keloid scars appear as a response of the skin to a process of repairing a wound, a burn or a process of inflammation such as acne, because the fibers of the dermis have formed a poor quality tissue.

Through the non-ablative laser can renew the definitive appearance of the skin that is unstructured.

Spots

manchas

These are brown spots that can be found in areas that have suffered an excessive accumulation of sunlight over time, such as hands, neckline, face or shoulders.

In these cases, the pulsed light and the non-ablative fractionated laser are used, which allows a comfortable result for the patient since there are no obvious crusts. In addition, one of the side effects it produces is the improvement of the appearance of the skin for the generation of collagen.

Stretch marks

estrias

Stretch marks are the result of the rupture of the skin as a result of over-tensioning. Currently, one of the few treatments that has scientific evidence to improve the appearance of stretch marks is the combination of fractured and non-ablative fractionated ablative lasers, as it repairs the affected skin in a few sessions. When the stretch marks are pink, that is, recent, the use of the laser can make them disappear. In contrast, when they are white, that is, ancient, the laser improves their appearance.

The combination of the non-ablative laser and fractured ablative laser is the only procedure capable of repairing the affected skin in at least 6 sessions, separated from each other by periods of one month.

Photorejuvenation and resurfacing

rejuvenecimiento o resurfacing

When the patient seeks to strengthen and reaffirm the flaccidity of the skin, the photo rejuvenation allows to activate muscle fibers and produce collagen, generating a transitory aspect of stretching.

In contrast, resurfacing consists of renewing all skin, improve the facial sagging and the sun spots through the fractionated C02 laser.
