Comprehensive study of the couple

During the first visit, you will be given documentation about the centre. Please note that you must complete a form in compliance with the Spanish Data Protection Act. In this regard, we will take your personal and identification details.

It is important that you bring all the documents and previous test results you have with you on this first visit. If you have not undergone any previous examinations, we advise you to inform us by telephone when arranging your appointment so that we can schedule it on a day and under conditions that will allow the examination to begin immediately, saving you additional visits.

From the start of treatment, women should take a daily multivitamin containing folic acid, vitamin B12 and iodine. Consult your gynaecologist beforehand to determine which multivitamin is the best for you.

First study visit

This visit commences the study and assessment of the infertility problem.

1. Preparation of a medical record. It includes family history of hereditary diseases, personal history of interest, previous illnesses and operations, harmful habits, etc. Gynaecological aspects are also reviewed: previous contraception, pregnancies or abortions, menstrual disorders, etc.

2. Infertility study. Unless the fertility problem has been studied previously, our study commences with various tests.
