Research

Research is one of the cornerstones of Centro Médico Teknon. All research conducted at our centre must be approved by the Clinical Research Ethics Committee, which meets every month or once every fortnight.

Our organisation's clear commitment to promoting research translates into our professionals' strong commitment to offering their patients the best and most innovative treatments.

The research carried out within the corporate RD&i (Research, Development and Innovation) Department focuses on resolving clinical questions, by multidisciplinary teams working on a permanent basis at Quirón Hospital Group: clinical specialists, engineers, physicists, pathologists, etc., optimising the use of the resources available to them and always focused on developing solutions that benefit the patients at our hospitals.

Clinical trials

At Centro Médico Teknon, we conduct research to contribute to the development of more effective therapies that improve healthcare and patients' quality of life. We have around 54 active trials, 21 observational trials and 2 service provision trials, through which we seek to improve and innovate in the treatment of diseases that require new drugs and techniques, and to provide our patients with early access to the most innovative treatments.
