The Endoscopy and Digestive Function Testing Unit at Centro Médico Teknon is undoubtedly the most modern and comprehensive digestive endoscopy unit in Spain. Since its inception in 1988 by Dr Jorge C. Espinós and Dr Jesús Turró, the unit has maintained a reputation for delivering premium quality endoscopies, employing state-of-the-art technology and recruiting the foremost specialists across all facets of digestive endoscopy. A strong emphasis is placed on therapeutic endoscopy techniques, which serve as non-surgical substitutes for conventional operations.

Our medical team of over 20 gastroenterologists, all experts in endoscopy, provides and carries out all diagnostic and therapeutic methods, often employing groundbreaking approaches devised and put into practice by our unit.

The Endoscopy Service also has extensive facilities comprising seven endoscopy rooms with 15 cubicles, enabling us to treat our patients with maximum precision and without delay.

In addition to conventional endoscopy and colon cancer screening, we currently provide the following services:
