Clinical Neurophysiology for treating sleep disorders

We have a team specialising in clinical neurophysiology (the study of the nervous system), which enables us to diagnose and define the treatment for many sleep disorders.

Neurophysiology is the medical specialty that studies the nervous system. It includes the study of the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord), peripheral nervous system (nerves and sensory organs) and autonomic nervous system.

By compiling an accurate medical history and using specialised medical technology, diagnostic tests are carried out to aid in the diagnosis and therapeutic guidance of a wide range of pathologies.

Clinical Neurophysiology Tests:

Electroencephalography:

  • Conventional electroencephalography.
  • Sleep deprivation electroencephalography.
  • Nocturnal sleep electroencephalography.
  • Video electroencephalography:

Sleep studies:

  • Daytime polysomnography.
  • Nocturnal polysomnography.
  • Nocturnal polysomnography with CPAP titration.
  • Multiple sleep latency test.
