Once again, Dr. V. Riambau, the sole Spanish vascular surgeon invited to the52th VEITH Symposium, the world’s largest vascular meeting, presented, among other talks, the preliminary results of the TiGER registry and the CONFORTA study. Both international multicenter studies, of which Dr. Riambau is the principal investigator, are related to endovascular aortic repair.

The VEITH symposium, annually held in New York City, convenes an esteemed panel of renowned speakers and influential individuals from across the globe.

Dr Riambau chinaDr Riambau, on behalf of the Vascular Surgery Department at Hospital Clínic and as President of the SITE symposium congress, has signed a scientific and training collaboration agreement with Dr Chang Shu, President of the Global Vascular Network, the National Vascular Society of China and the China Vascular Congress.

We hope that this new cooperation will lead to major advances in the treatment of complex vascular diseases and new training opportunities for young vascular surgeons.

CEC-China Endovascular Course Riambau

Dr. V. Riambau has been invited for the second consecutive year to participate as a speaker at the most important endovascular surgery conference held in China. This is the CEC-China Endovascular Course, which this year brought together more than 5,000 attendees in Shanghai from 27 to 30 December. During this visit, Dr. Riambau was able to exchange knowledge and experiences with China's most prestigious vascular surgeons and establish ties for future international scientific and teaching collaborations with this great country.
