RadioncologíaRadiation oncology
The Radiation Oncology Service, directed by Dr Miralbell, is a central service at Centro Médico Teknon, part of the Teknon Oncology Institute. It has two state-of-the-art linear accelerators.
Radioterapia Instituto oftalmológico TeknonRadiotherapy
Radiotherapy mainly uses very high-energy ionising radiation to destroy tumour cells by preventing their rapid division.
Quimioterapia (1)Chemotherapy
The objective of chemotherapy is to destroy the cells that make up the tumour, in order to reduce the disease. These drugs reach virtually all tissues in the body, and that is where they exert their action, both on malignant and healthy cells.

Our surgery unit is dedicated to the treatment of advanced abdominal and gynaecological cancers, especially those affecting the abdominal membrane called the peritoneum. These types of metastases are also called ‘peritoneal carcinomatosis’.
Terapia DirigidaTargeted Therapy
It is a treatment that aims to study defective genes or proteins that contribute to the growth and development of cancer.
